The Commonwealth Institute of South Florida has named GO Airport Shuttle & Executive Car, a Ft. Lauderdale company, as number 18 on their list of the top woman-led firm in South Florida.
Founded by Lorraine Celestino Wilde in 1986, GO Airport Shuttle & Executive Car offers shared-ride transportation at Ft. Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport, West Palm Beach International Airport and Miami International as well as charters and private sedans throughout South Florida.
It is a founding member of The GO Group, LLC, an international consortium of airport ground transportation companies serving 66 airports in North America, Central America, the Caribbean and Europe.
The Commonwealth Institute made the announcement at its April 3 luncheon honoring the top 50 women-led businesses in the region.
In addition to heading her own company, Wilde is chief financial officer and a board member of The GO Group as well as a board member and president-elect of the Airport Ground Transportation Association. Other board positions the Taxicab, Limousine & Para Transit Association and the Florida Limousine Association.
Formerly, she served on the board of the Florida Ground Transportation Association and the host committees of the 1999 Breeders Cup and Super Bowls XXIX & XXXIII.
