We asked our customers whether (non-service) animals should be allowed to ride with their owners in airplane cabins. A little more than half of the respondents said “yes,” but 63 percent of them noted that it was acceptable only if the animals were kept in designated areas to accommodate those with allergies. One respondent, a veterinarian, acknowledged the potential dangers of animals traveling in cargo, while others said airlines should have better cargo care for animals. Another said pet owners should just leave their critters at home. For the record, most GO Operators allowed crated pets in their vehicles, but call ahead to let us know if you will be traveling with your furried friends.
